So... My apartment company took the entire apartment's rent out of my account, which is $2080, and charged my roommate nothing. My rent is usually $1035, so I obviously didn't have enough to cover the entire thing, and was also charged $25 for insufficient funds. That was May 2nd. I found out late May 3rd, and went in to talk to them May 4th, early. They said the money would be back in my account within 2 business days, which was May 7th, May 8th at the very latest. It's now May 10th, and I still have a negative balance, and therefore NO money at all, going right into finals week. My dad's gonna get his lawyer involved before long. There is no reason for this to take so long, especially without any word from them as to why it is. They said they would call yesterday about it...and didn't. I'm gonna see if it'll get me out of the contract early, so I don't have to pay rent over the summer. That would rule.
